DC Morale was born in 1974. In 1998 she graduated from the Art Center College of Design with a major in Illustration in Pasadena, CA. In 2005 she moved to New York and continued her studies at the Art Students League, Grand Central Academy of Art and Janus Collaborative.

DC Morale was exposed to art as a teenager. She started art early by filling sketchbooks with one portrait after another and developed a love for drawing people which eventually expanded into painting a broad spectrum of things. Her paintings are characterized by broad brushstrokes, a bold application of paint and vivid color.

Morale has exhibited work in both solo and group exhibits in California, Chicago, Dallas and New York.
